Cracking the Automation Challenges in Power Battery PACK Production Lines
On March 25, the "2016 Gaogong Lithium Battery Supply Chain Excellent Products Touring Conference," jointly hosted by the People's Government of Jintan District, Changzhou City, Gaogong Lithium Battery, and AVIC Lithium Battery, was grandly held at the Run'ao Garden Hotel in Jintan, Changzhou. Over 300 industry leaders from across the entire new-energy vehicle, battery, equipment, and materials value chain attended the event, coming together to discuss the emerging demands and trends in the era of new-energy vehicles.
Shanghai Junyi's General Manager delivered a keynote speech titled "Cracking the Automation of Power Battery PACK Production Lines." During the presentation, he highlighted that the booming demand in the power battery market has triggered a massive wave of capacity expansion—but now, a structural overcapacity situation has emerged. As a result, battery manufacturers are urgently in need of comprehensive, one-stop automation equipment solutions to enhance product automation levels, while also improving product safety and consistency.
In the future, power battery manufacturing will move toward unmanned operations, information technology, and digitalization.
