On the afternoon of October 16, 2023, the unveiling ceremony for the joint base between Shanghai Junyi and the School of Mechanical Engineering at Donghua University was successfully held at Junyi's main building.
Ma Yixin, Chairman of Shanghai Junyi, along with Technical Director Cheng Yuanxin, Board Secretary Liu Ying, and other attendees, as well as Liu Xiaoyan, Vice Dean of the Graduate School at Donghua University, Dean Dan Hongbo from the College of Mechanical Engineering, and Vice Dean Bai Tao, among other faculty members, participated in the meeting. Ma Yixin, Chairman of Shanghai Junyi, extended a warm welcome to all the teachers from Donghua University.
Leaders from both sides briefly introduced the companies' and schools' historical backgrounds and current development statuses, and then engaged in an open exchange of ideas on future initiatives such as talent training, academic education, internship programs, and the cultivation of internationally competitive, high-end professionals through industry-academia collaboration. Following this, the two sides held a ceremony to officially unveil the joint graduate training base, presented certificates appointing external mentors for graduate students, and captured a commemorative group photo. After the ceremony, Ma Yuxin personally guided the attendees on a tour of Junyi’s exhibition hall and factory workshops.
The joint graduate training base is a vital platform for postgraduate students to gain hands-on professional experience, serving as an essential vehicle for integrating industry, academia, and research. Shanghai Junyi and Donghua University have jointly established this industry-academia integration graduate training base—a strategic move aimed at strengthening collaboration between universities and enterprises, fostering mutual benefits, and achieving win-win outcomes.
