The Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government have decided to launch the selection and commendation of Shanghai's Model Collectives, Outstanding Labor Models, and Advanced Workers. This initiative recognizes individuals and teams that have made outstanding contributions in recent years to Shanghai's economic, political, cultural, social, ecological civilization, and Party-building efforts. According to the work plan, after a bottom-up, tiered selection process, 300 Shanghai Model Collectives, 600 Shanghai Outstanding Labor Models, and Advanced Workers have been identified as nominees for recognition. The proposed list of awardees has now been publicly announced for review.
