To effectively carry out fire prevention and emergency response efforts, and to enhance employees' fire safety awareness, Shanghai Junyi organized a fire emergency drill and related safety training session on November 22, 2024, at 3:00 PM, under the theme "Fire Safety for All, Life First."
At 3:00 PM, the fire alarm sounded, immediately triggering the emergency response and evacuation procedures as outlined in the plan. The emergency team swiftly sprang into action, with each member taking their designated role to ensure that, within five minutes, all employees from every department could evacuate safely and efficiently from the office building and factory premises—following the designated escape routes—to the designated emergency assembly point.
Wang Fengkai, head of Junyi's Safety Management Committee, provided a detailed training session at the exercise site, covering topics such as fire prevention, initial firefighting techniques, proper emergency reporting, evacuation organization, rescue procedures, and relevant laws and regulations. He then demonstrated and guided participants on the practical use of fire extinguishers and indoor and outdoor fire hydrants during the hands-on drills.
Following this, the session moved into the hands-on firefighting practice. Over ten new and veteran employees eagerly participated, carefully following the training guidelines: positioning themselves upwind, correctly gripping the fire extinguisher, pulling out the safety pin, aiming it at the base of the fire, and then spraying while chanting the mnemonic "shake, pull, spray." They continued pressing the handle until the flames were successfully extinguished.
This fire drill training is an important component of the company's ongoing efforts to enhance safety management, aiming to continuously improve the company and employees' on-site firefighting and emergency response capabilities, strengthen staff members' fire safety knowledge and skills, and ensure the safety of both personnel and equipment!
