To effectively carry out fire prevention and emergency response efforts, ensure the safety of employees and equipment, enhance staff awareness of fire safety, and proactively mitigate fire risk, Shanghai Junyi organized a fire emergency drill at 3:00 p.m. on November 10, 2023.
Fire Escape Drill: At 3:00 PM, the fire alarm sounded. Following the pre-established emergency response plan, immediate instructions were issued for both firefighting operations and urgent evacuations. The emergency team quickly sprang into action, with each member taking on their designated role. Within five minutes, all employees across departments were guided safely and efficiently to the designated emergency assembly point via the established evacuation routes from the office building and factory premises.
Fire Safety Training: Wang Fengkai, head of Junyi's Safety Management Committee, provided detailed training on fire prevention, initial firefighting techniques, proper emergency reporting, evacuation organization, and rescue procedures at the exercise site. He also demonstrated and guided participants on the correct usage of fire extinguishers and indoor/outdoor fire hydrants during the subsequent hands-on practice session.
Equipment hands-on practice: Following this, the session moved into the hands-on firefighting practice phase, with each group consisting of two people. Both experienced and new employees eagerly participated, carefully recalling the key training points: positioning themselves upwind, holding the fire extinguisher firmly, and using the mnemonic "shake, pull, spray" to accurately aim at the base of the fire, successfully extinguishing the blaze.
Through this fire drill, every employee gained a deeper understanding of essential firefighting and emergency response skills—such as how to properly extinguish fires, evacuate safely, and effectively rescue themselves or escape—in the event of a sudden blaze, providing a strong safeguard for creating a safe and harmonious workplace!
